Post her retirement she channeled her courage and determination to her humanitarian interests. During the lockdown, when she saw migrant workers walk barefoot she began a drive to collect footwear for them. And then in August 2020 she started Roti Bank Hyderabad, a non-profit free food distribution organization aimed at eliminating hunger and malnutrition amongst the underprivileged.
